MDI Softball Defeats Washington Academy 16-3

The MDI Trojans Softball Team defeated Washington Academy 16-3 on Friday afternoon, May 7th in Bar Harbor.

The Trojans sent 12 batters to the plate in the 3rd inning, highlighted by Leah Carroll's home run.

Addy Boyce pitched the complete game for MDI tossing 6 innings, allowing  hits and striking out 11 while walking 2

MDI is now 5-2 and will play at Ellsworth on Tuesday, May 11th at 5 p.m.

Washington Academy is 0-6 and plays host to GSA on Wednesday May 12th
