MDI Girls Tennis Beat MCI 3-2 in Quarterfinals Play Caribou Saturday Boys Lose to Old Town 2-3

The MDI Girls Tennis Team defeated MCI 3-2 in the Quarterfinals at Bar Harbor on Thursday, June 3rd and will host Caribou on Saturday, June 5th at 1 or 2 p.m.  The Boys fell to Old Town 2-3. Here are the Quarterfinal results

• 1st Singles - Lelia Weir lost 0-6, 0-6
• 2nd Singles - Taber Allen lost 0-6, 0-6
• 3rd Singles - Austria Morehouse won 6-4, 6-3
• 1st Doubles - Julia Perconti/Jane Pope won 6-1, 6-1
• 2nd Doubles - Olivia Chandler/Avonlea Brown won 6-0, 6-2

The Boys fell to Old Town at Old Town 2-3 Thursday, June 5th.

• 1st Singles - Westy Granholm won 6-2, 6-2
• 2nd Singles - Finn Seyffer lost 0-6, 5-7
• 3rd Singles - Jack Hodgdon lost 4-6, 2-6
• 1st Doubles - Marshall Reiff/Whit Chaplin lost 2-6, 6-4, 2-6
• 2nd Doubles - Jameson Weir/Moses Lincoln won 7-6 (7-2 in tiebreak), 5-7, 6-4
