MDI Girls and Boys Tennis Defeat Ellsworth 3-2

The MDI Girls and Boys Tennis Teams defeated Ellsworth 3-2 at Ellsworth High School on Thursday, May 20th. It was the 1st loss for the Ellsworth Girls all season. Here are the individual results

• 1st Singles Lelia Weir (MDI) defeated Bailey Clarke (EHS) 8-1
• 2nd Singles Sierra Andrews (EHS) defeated Taber Allen 8-4
• 3rd Singles Megan Jordan (EHS) defeated Austria Morehouse 8-3
• 1st Doubles Jane Pope/Julia Perconti (MDI) defeated Grace Gumpp/Jocelyn Boudreau 8-0
• 2nd Doubles - Avonlea Brown/Olivia Chandler (MDI) defeated Briana Kane/Kahlan Keene 8-4

Boys

• 1st Singles - Westy Granholm (MDI) defeated Ben Osterlin (EHS) 8-3
• 2nd Singles - Finn Seyffer (MDI) defeated Liam Stephenson (EHS) 8-0
• 3rd Singles - Tate Carter (EHS) defeated Jack Hodgdon (MDI) 8-4
• 1st Doubles - Kai Barrett/Koa Barrett (EHS) defeated Whit Chaplin/Marshall Reiff 8-4
• 2nd Doubles - Jameson Weir/Moses Lincoln (MDI) defeated Dallas Flood/Owen Frank (EHS) 9-7

MDI and Ellsworth will play each other on Monday, May 24th in Bar Harbor at MDI High School at 4:30 p.m.
