MDI Girls Soccer Nipped by Old Town 2-1

The MDI Girls Soccer Team lost to Old Town 2-1 at Alumni Field in Bar Harbor on Thursday night, September 23rd.

Lelia Weir put MDI up 1-0 scoring with 2:29 gone in the game, with an assist from Hannah St. Amand.

At 34:03, Cassiy Rackliffe scored for the Coyotes to knot the score at 1-1.

The score remained tied at the Half.

Old Town took the lead with 27:19 remaining, as Rackliffe scored her 2nd goal, assisted by Kayleigh Johnston.

Bella Brown was in net for MDI

MDI is now 1-5. They play at Ellsworth on Wednesday, September 29th at 6 p.m.

Old Town is 3-1-1. They play host to Caribou on Wednesday, September 29th.
