MDI Boys Soccer Shuts Out Brewer 4-0

The MDI Boys Soccer Team shut out the Brewer Witches Saturday night, October 5th under the lights at Alumni Field 4-0. The win avenged their earlier loss to the Witches in Brewer (3-0) back on September 17th.

It was scoreless through the 1st Half. In the 2nd Half, Leao Nelson put the Trojans on the scoreboard with 32:41 left.

Ben Hulbert added a goal, with an assist from Shane Bonilla with 13:21 remaining. Nick Dmitrieff added an insurance goal with 7:15 remaining, with an assist from Nelson. Finally, Reider Watson scored with 4:46 remaining.

MDI is 7-2-1 and currently in 2nd place in the Northern Maine Class B Heal Point Standings. The Trojans play at Old Town on Wednesday, October 9th at 4 PM against the Coyotes.

Brewer 2-8, plays host to Oxford Hills, Tuesday October 8th at 3:30
