MDI Boys’ Soccer Beats Hermon 2-1

The MDI Boys' Soccer Team picked up their 1st win of the season, beating the Hermon Hawks 2-1 at Alumni Field in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, September 5th.

Corin Baker scored both of the Trojan's goals. The 1st came with 21:41 remaining in the 1st Half.

The Hawks answered with a goal with 15:25 left in the 1st Half.

The score was 1-1 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half with 1:41 left in regulation Baker scored on a penalty kick to give MDI the win.

MDI is now 1-1. They will travel to play the John Bapst Crusaders on Thursday, September 7th at 4 p.m.

Hermon is 0-2. They will host the Old Town Crusaders on Saturday, September 9th at 1 p.m.

In the JV game, the MDI Trojans beat Hermon 6-0.

Julian Austin scored 3 goals and Brett Carr, Dylan Stoll and Gryphon Noble-Brown each scored a goal, with Noble-Brown's coming via a header!
