It was a night to honor the seniors of the Ellsworth Volleyball Team, as the Eagles played their last regular season games at Katsiaficas Gymnasium, and they did it against their rivals, the MDI Trojans. MDI came away with the victory, winning in straight sets 3-0, with the individual scores 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

MDI's Coach Corey Papadopoli said

We did well.  The girls hustled tough, got lots of balls up and played great defense.  They took some great swings as well.  Always good to play Ellsworth as it is a great rivalry with a strong desire to win on both sides.  And it was nice to get everyone in tonight as well. It was also their senior night and we're sorry to face some of those girls for the last time, though we wish them lots of luck.
