MDI Football Heads To Millinocket For First Scrimmage Of Fall

After a week of double-sessions the MDI Football Team is headed up to Millinocket to take on Stearns in a controlled scrimmage this afternoon. MDI Football Coach Mark Shields joined WDEA's Chris Popper to talk about week 1, and looked ahead to week 2 with the exhibition game this Friday, August 28th at 7 p.m. at Orono.

Remembering Walter Churchill

The MDI football team will have WC stickers on the back of their helmets this fall in memory of Walter Churchill.

Everyone is invited to remember Walter Churchill this Sunday, August 30th as his ashes will be scattered at sea on a Bar Harbor Whale Watch boat. We will be leaving the dock at 2:30 and returning at 4:30. You will need to be at the dock in Bar Harbor between 1:45-2 pm. If you want to go, please reserve your ticket HERE
