Maine Maritime Academy Women’s Basketball Team Signs Top Recruit for Class of 2019 [PHOTOS]

The Maine Maritime Academy Women's Basketball Team announced the signing of their newest member of the team, Kelsey Carter, a guard, from Blue Hill on Thursday, October 3rd.

Kelsey was paired with the Mariners through Team IMPACT (Inspire, Motivate and Play Against Challenges Together). She will have her own locker in the locker room, attend games on the bench.

Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit that connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with local college athletic teams, forming life-long bonds and life-changing outcomes.
