AYS Girls Fall to Presque Isle 27-20 in 2026 Sheriff’s Cup Finals

The Acadian Youth Sports Girl's Basketball Team fell to Presque Isle 27-20 in the 2026 Sheriff's Cup Finals held this past weekend.

Presque Isle led 16-2 at the end of the 1st Half.

Scoring for the AYS Team, coached by Scott Edlund were:

• Laceigh Trenholm - 3 points
• Amya Tripp - 3 points
• Lucie Pike - 1 point
• Angle Ellis - 1 point

• Aliyah McGarr - 0 points
• Ella Stoll - 0 points

Scoring for the Presque Isle Team, coached by Emily Smith were:

• Willow Bugbee - 10 points
• Kealyn Gogain - 7 points
• Hailey Plant - 5 points
• Halle Escancy - 3 points
• Aubrey Plant - 2 point
• Abigail Blanchard - 0 points
• Laura Blanchard - 0 points
