Maine DOT Urging Caution Tonight

The Maine Department of Transportation is urging caution tonight for drivers throughout the state. At 11:40 this morning, temperatures were 49 degrees in Bangor, and 48 degrees in Bar Harbor. Tonight's lows are expected to be 14 degrees, which means there will be a flash freeze, and any standing water and puddles on the roads will turn to ice, making roads, walkways and sidewalks dangerously icy!

The Maine Department of Transportation is suggesting that you stay home if possible tonight. Be sure to call if you have a meeting, athletic event or some other function, as many have been postponed or cancelled.
