Lantern Stroll [PHOTOS]

What an incredibly, beautiful night last night, Wednesday July 20th,  in Northeast Harbor for the 2016 Asticou Garden Lantern Stroll! My wife and I drove down from Bangor and were joined by a couple of hundred people and it was as beautiful, tranquil and serene as I imagined!

As the sun set and twilight began, the gardens were lit up by visitors carrying lanterns. In the pond, lanterns glowed on the water! There is even a sand garden.  If you have time, and are looking for something fun and peaceful to do, I would definitely recommend going through the gardens! It doesn't take long to walk through and the paths are very family friendly.
