Knowlton Park Splash Pad Will NOT Open on May 25th

The temperature on Saturday, May 25th is supposed to be in the mid 60's and we're expecting sunny skies in Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. Despite that the Knowlton Park Splash Pad will not open as scheduled.

The City of Ellsworth determined that the foot activated sensor pads are not working and they have had to order replacement parts in order to fix them. The hope is that the parts will be received next week, and that the Splash Pad can be operational the first weekend of June!
