Just Under 4000 Without Power Friday Morning January 25

11 AM Update - There were 3294 customers still without power, 3180 in Hancock County.  If you are experiencing an outage and have not yet reported it, you can report outages via their website or by calling their Customer Contact Center at  973-2000

There were 3917 Emera Maine customers without power as of 7:30 AM on Friday, January 25th, with the majority in Hancock County

After a night of heavy winds with gusts recorded at 60 miles per hour at the Bar Harbor Hancock County Airport, Emera Maine line crews and others from nearby regions will be out in full force Friday morning to safely complete the restoration process.

Motorists are asked to be aware of line crews working near the roadway and to give them as wide as berth as possible. Remember never go near a downed wire or a tree in contact with a downed wire.
