Island Explorer Starts Fall Schedule Early

The Island Explorer will start its Fall Schedule on Thursday, August 31st and operate through Monday, October 9th, Columbus Day.

The reason behind the change in the schedule, is that a large number of drivers will be returning to drive school buses, and the Island Explorer doesn't have enough staff to continue the summer schedule.

The Island Explorer will be operating the shaded times listed for the Fall Schedule. The Brown Mountain Route #6 will not operate during the Fall. Note, On August 31st only, the Southwest Harbor Route #7 will continue hourly service until 8 PM.

Southwest Harbor Route #7

Bicycle Express runs only until September 30th
