Healthy Acadia’s INSPIRE Recovery Center will serve as an emergency weather shelter for unhoused individuals in need in Hancock and Washington counties starting today (Friday September 15th) at 4 p.m., and it will remain open until 6 a.m. on Sunday, September 17th.

Please note that the shelter has a maximum capacity of 20 people, and admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the safety and well-being of all, no weapons or substances will be allowed into the shelter.
