The National Weather Service in Caribou is forecasting rain totals of 2 to 3 inches of rain for Downeast Maine Thursday afternoon to Friday night.

The good news is that the weather is suppose to clear for the weekend.

Mariners will want to pay attention to the Marine Forecast as there is a Gale Watch in effect from Friday afternoon through late Friday night.
