Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Expected Downeast November 30-December1

The good news as November ends and December begins...It's going to be warm with temperatures in the mid 50's during the day. The bad news? We can expect heavy rain Monday afternoon into Tuesday and strong winds!

There is a High Wind Watch in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon Downeast, with southeasterly winds 20 to 30 miles per hours with gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

And when the rain comes, it's going to continue through Tuesday night, with the possibility of 3 to 4 inches of rain in the Ellsworth- Bar Harbor area and 4 to 6 inches of rain in the Machias-Calais area
