Hancock Halloween 2020
Businesses and residents of Hancock are urged to come together to make Halloween 2020 one like we've never seen, by taking part in Hancock's Make It Safe Halloween 2020 event.
Organizers of the event on Facebook are planning a safe trick-or-treating event, decorating contest and scavenger hunt.
In an attempt to reassure family, homes and businesses will sign the safe location pledge. If you want to participate in the Halloween Decorating Contest you'll need to register by October 28th. There will be 5 different categories :
- Most Creative
- Scariest
- Funniest
- Best Family/Team
- Best Trunk Decor
To participate, decorations must not contain an adult theme and be appropriate for children. Decorations may include but not limited to window displays (inside or outside), Front porch displays, entrance ways, yard displays or vehicle trunks.
Each participating location will be given orange and yellow balloons to display for Trick-or-Treating so participants will know which are the "safe" houses/businesses.
