Grant Street Work in Ellsworth to Continue thru August 29

Motorists traveling in the lower Grant Street area of Ellsworth should be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances during the basin repair, Ellsworth Public Works will need to keep the excavation site open at the end of Grant Street until Thursday, August 29th.

The site is currently secured with barricades, and the lower end of Grant Street, where it intersects with Main Street, is closed to traffic.

Please plan accordingly and allow for a little extra time in your commute. Please also be mindful of all the flaggers and workers as they try to complete projects before the Labor Day Holiday.
