Frost Advisory for Hancock County

Need further proof that summer is almost over? The first official day for fall is September 23rd, but Mother Nature wants to give us a little taste of what's to come! There's a Frost Advisory in effect for Hancock County and beyond from midnight tonight, to 8AM on Thursday, September 19th.

The advisory includes Central Piscataquis, Central Penobscot, Southern Penobscot, Interior Hancock, Central Washington, Coasta Hancock, Coastal Washington, Southern Piscataquis, and Northern Washington Counties.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the lower to mid 30's.

The frost and freeze may damage sensitive vegetation.
