Friends in Action Community Lunches

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for October 2024!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in a warm setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action are asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

Tuesday October 1st - Chili, Corn Bread, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday October 3rd - Chicken Quesadillas, Spanish Rice, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday October 8th - Cheeseburger, Tater Tots, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday October 10th - Stuffed Peppers, Roll, Veggies and Dessert
Tuesday October 15th - Raviolis, Mozzarella Stuffed Bread, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday October 17th - Pizza, Salad, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday October 22nd - Roast Beef Sandwich, Tater Tots, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday October 24th - Chicken Florentine, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday October 29th - Meatballs and Spaghetti, Mozzarella Stuffed Bread, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday October 31st - Beef Fajitas, Roll, Veggies, Fruit and Dessert
