Friends in Action Community Lunches

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for August 2024!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in a cool setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

Thursday, August 1 - Beef Parmesan with Noodles, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday August 6 - Italian Beef Subs with Tater Tots, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday August 8 - Kielbasa with Roll, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday August 13 - Hamburger Steak Roll, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday August 15 - Baked Chicken Thighs with Butter Noodles, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday August 20 - Baked Pork Chops with Roll, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday August 22 - Chicken Parmesan with Mozzarella Stuffed Bread, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday August 27 - Beef Burritos with Spanish Rice Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
Thursday August 29 - Chef Salad with Sweet Potato Salad, Fruit and Dessert
