Freezing Rain,Ice and Wind Causing Power Outages Friday February 7th

Freezing rain, ice and wind are beginning to cause power outages Downeast on Friday, February 7th.

As of 1:50 p.m. there were 2393 Emera Maine customers without power. You can see the latest outage and restoration information HERE.

Emera does have crews out on the roads Friday afternoon, working on restoring power as quickly and safely as possible.

Please remember to give line-crews as much room as possible if you pass them on the side of the road. Also, never touch a downed line or a tree in contact with a downed line.
