Freeze Warning and High Surf Advisory for Downeast Maine

Mother Nature has decided to up the ante, and go from a frost warning to a freeze warning for Downeast Maine tonight. In addition, there is a High Surf Advisory, because after all this is 2020.

The freeze warning is in effect from Midnight, Monday September 21st through 9 a.m. with sub-freezing temperatures expected for all of Northern and Eastern Maine

The High Surf Advisory remains in effect from 4 a.m to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 21st.

Large breaking waves of 4 to 7 feet are expected in the surf zone and high tide in Bar Harbor is at 2:23 p.m Monday afternoon
