Franklin Street Extension to be Closed Effective Monday May 20 as Parklet Reopens

Motorists driving on Main Street in Ellsworth won't be able to cut through on the Franklin Street extension to City Hall starting on Monday, May 20th as the Parklet will reopen for the summer/fall.

This is the 3rd year for the Parklet, which originally opened for the season in May of 2021The Parklet will remain until October 14th.

Those trying to access City Hall or the Municipal Parking Lot can do so through the State Street, School Street to Store Street, or Church Street entrances.
