Challenger Little League Wraps Up 11th Season Today at DeMeyer Field

If you have some time this morning and are in the Ellsworth area, please head over to DeMeyer Field off the Boggy Brook Road. The Ellsworth Challenger League will have their closing ceremonies this morning, as they conclude their 11th season.

The last game will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a potluck at 11:30 and awards ceremony.

If you haven't been to a Challenger game, it's very similar in concept to Unified Basketball. Athletes are playing with a buddy in the field and at the plate. Trust me, you will smile, and your heart will grow a size or too, if you are able to stop by and cheer on the kids

A huge shoutout to the players, pals, and coaches for this year's Challenger League!
