Flash is the SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week
Do you have room in your heart and home? Flash is the SPCA of Hancock County's Pet of the Week!
Flash is a stunning five-year-old cat with the gentlest soul. Flash hasn’t always known kindness, and for many months, he trembled whenever a human came near. But little by little, with patience and love, he’s learning to trust.
Today, Flash has taken some big, brave steps forward. He may not be a lap cat just yet, but he now welcomes soft chin scratches and watches the world with curious eyes instead of frightened ones. His journey is one of quiet courage, and with the right person, he will continue to bloom at his own pace.
One thing that has always brought Flash comfort? Other cats! He absolutely loves feline friends and would thrive in a home with a friendly cat to show him the ropes.
Flash needs a home that understands that love isn't always loud—sometimes, it's sitting nearby, offering a treat, and letting trust grow in its own time. If you have a heart big enough for a cat who is still learning how to trust, and maybe a friendly feline to welcome him, Flash will show you just how special it is to earn a shy cat’s love.
To learn more about Flash and the other animals looking for adoption please visit the SPCA of Hancock County's website. The SPCA of Hancock County is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday Noon to 4 p.m.
