Emera Maine linecrews are out working hard to restore power after the windstorm on Thursday, October 17th. As of 4 PM on Friday October 18th Emera Maine linecrew had almost halved the list of those without power as of 12 Noon. There are now  5,606 customers without power, with the vast majority in Hancock and Washington Counties.

Here is a list of areas that linecrews are working in on Friday for Hancock and Washington Counties. Crews will be working overnight, but if you are still without power as of 10 PM on Friday, you should be prepared to be without power overnight.

Hancock County: Southwest Harbor, Islesford, Seal Cove, West Tremont, Manset, Bass Harbor, Bernard, Cranberry Isles, Frenchboro, Swan’s Island, Tremont, Deer Isle, Stonington, Brooklin, Sedgwick, Sargentville, Brooksville, Blue Hill, Little Deer Isle, Sunset, Amherst, Aurora, Mariahville, Waltham, Clifton, Otis, Great Pond, Ellsworth, Fletchers Landing TWP, Township 8, Franklin, T9 SD, Eastbrook, Hancock, Lamoine, Hancock Point

Washington County: Beddington, Cherryfield, Deveraux TWP, T22 MD, Perry, Pembroke, Milbridge, Addison, Harrington, Columbia, Lubec, Trescott TWP

Temperatures overnight Friday into Saturday are expected to dip into the lower 40's . If we become aware of any warming centers opening in Hancock or Washington Counties we will post them
