Emera Maine's line crews have restored power to 24,000 customers since 4:45PM, however there are still 31,592 customers without power as of 10:30 PM on Friday, November 1st.

Although crews will be working through the night, customers who are still without service at 10 p.m. should expect to be without power overnight.  More than 1,000 reports of downed wires have been called in to Emera Maine's Customer Contact Center on Friday, and the public is reminded to report anything that looks unsafe by calling (207) 973-2000. With temperatures falling, customers who use generators also are reminded to follow all manufacturers' guidelines to keep themselves and crews restoring power safe.

Thanks to Rainwise we know this morning in the 7AM hour, Strawberry Hill in Bar Harbor had a recorded wind gust of 58 miles per hour and 54.7 miles per hour in the 9AM hour.
