City of Ellsworth- Planned Water Outage Affecting Entire City Starting Thursday November 20th at 7 a.m.

The City of Ellsworth has informed us, of a planned water outage that will affect the entire City starting Thursday morning, November 20th at 7 a.m.

According to the City of Ellsworth's website, the work will begin at 7 am, will be as brief as possible, but is expected to last through the morning. Many customers may experience low water pressure or no water at all. The City of Ellsworth is asking that residents and businesses conserve water during this time If possible, shower before, and refrain from washing clothes and running dishwashers.

If you are in one of the 2 red circled areas, below, you can expect to be completely without water while the repair is completed. Once completed, you will be under a Boil Water Order until further notice.

If you experience discolored water once water is restored, please run the water until it clears.

You should prepare for the outage BEFORE Thursday morning at 7 a.m. Fill the tub for toilet flushing. You should fill buckets or pans for drinking water or for cooking.
