Lane Closure on Water and Foster Street and Part of Beechland Road in Ellsworth – August 21[UPDATE]

UPDATE- The leak is bigger than initially anticipated. Foster Street as well as Water Street have been shut down as well as the Bayside Road from Washington Street to Beechland Road!

The City of Ellsworth Public Works and Water Division are currently working on Water Street in Ellsworth, repairing a water main, on Thursday, August 21st.

They are working near the intersection of Foster and Water Streets. Traffic has been reduced to 1 lane while this repair is being completed.

If you can avoid the area, please do so. If you can't, be go slowly, and allow plenty of room, so the Ellsworth Public Works and Water Division's employees can safely complete the repair.
