Ellsworth’s Water Conservation Order Lifted [UPDATE]
Update - 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, December 17 - The Water Conservation order has been lifted as all necessary repairs were completed.
The City of Ellsworth is asking all residents and business to conserve water immediately effective December 17th and until further notice as there is a problem with the main water line coming into the City on the Bucksport Road.
Crews will be replacing a malfunctioning pressure-reducing valve as soon as possible to protect the system and maintain service.
The City of Ellsworth asks you to limit water use as much as possible until further notice. In conversation with the Water Department they expect this to be fixed later this (Wednesday) afternoon.
The City of Ellsworth thanks you for your cooperation, patience and community spirit. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Water Department at 207-667-8362.
