Ellsworth voters went to the polls on Tuesday, July 12 in a special election to vote whether or not to pass the 2022-23 School Budget.

With 680 votes cast, Ellsworth voters passed the school budget 547-132 with 1 blank vote.

There are 6760 registered voters, so the turnout was 10.1 percent.

Of the 680 ballots cast, there were 226 absentee ballots issued.

The votes will become official when the Ellsworth City Council accepts them at their regular meeting on Monday, July 18th.
