Ellsworth Softball Beats Foxcroft Academy 7-3

The Ellsworth Softball Team defeated the Foxcroft Academy Ponies 7-3 on Thursday, May 2nd in Ellsworth

Tyler Hellum won her 2nd game in a row, in as many days, throwing a complete game, allowing 7 hits and striking out 4 and walking 2.

Mackenzie Beaudry took the loss for the Ponies. She allowed 7 hits, striking out 9 and walking 3.

For Ellsworth, Sara Shea and Katie Hammer each had 2 hits. Sydney Stevens, Kayla Duhaime and Abby Moon each had a single. Shea and Hammer each swiped a base.

For the Ponies, Amber Richard had 2 hits. Beaudry had 2 hits including a double. Sheryl Chase, Karis Dankery and Olivia Johnson each had a single.

Ellsworth is now 3-1 and will play at Washington Academy on Monday, May 6th at 4:30

Foxcroft Academy is 3-2 and will play at Dexter on Friday, May 3rd at 4:30
