Friends In Action Community Lunches – September 2025

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for September 2025!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action are asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

• Tuesday, September 2nd - Beef Taco Salad (Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Sour Cream, Guacamole and Corn Chips), Corn, Peaches and Dessert.
• Thursday, September 4th - Ham and Beans, Coleslaw, Corn Bread, Pears and Dessert.
• Tuesday, September 9th - Hot Turkey Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Cinnamon Applesauce and Dessert.
• Thursday, September 11th - Beef and Noodles, Dinner Roll, Cauliflower, Pineapple and Dessert.
• Tuesday, September 16th - Meatball Sub, Dinner Salad, Macaroni Salad, Grapes and Dessert.
• Thursday, September 18th - Broccoli Soup, Dinner Roll, Carrots, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Tuesday, September 23rd - Chili with Cheese, Sour Cream and Green Onions, Dinner Roll, Cantaloupe and Dessert.
• Thursday, September 25th - American Chop Suey, White Rice, Peas, Peaches and Dessert.
• Tuesday, September 30th - Blackened Chicken, Rice-a-Roni, Corn, Pears and Dessert.
