Ellsworth School Budget Passes

26.5% of Ellsworth's 5936 registered voters cast ballots on Tuesday, June 12th and the voters ratified the Ellsworth School Budget for 2018-19.

1051 voters cast yes ballots and 487 voters voted no. There were 38 blank ballots. The vote will be ratified at the June 18th Ellsworth City Council meeting

The budget for 2018-19 is $21.37 million which is up 3.43 over the 2017-18 budget, or $708,099. Voters were asked for and additional $272,711 to fund the local share of the budget, which is $11,393,487
