Scammers and hackers are everywhere, and it's getting harder and harder to protect your information. The Ellsworth Public Library wants to help educate and protect you! On Wednesday, June 4th they are offering 3 free seminars, each 1 hour long.

You are invited to attend as many as you wish! Light refreshments will be served. These free seminars will take place in the Riverview Room in the Library. Seating is limited, so please register by calling the Library at 207-667-6363.

Shield Against Scams: Being Street Smart in the Tech World  8:30-9:30 a.m. 

George Grohs from Coastal Computers will show you how to protect your business from common internet and email scams.

Shield Against Scams: Safe Online Banking 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.

Hannah Bubar from Key Bank will be teaching you how to protect your personal and business banking accounts from scams.

Shield Against Scams: Stay Safe on Your Phone and Online 11:00 a.m.- 12 Noon

A representative from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office will be educating the public on how to protect themselves against phone and texting scams.

The Ellsworth Public Library is open 6 days a week. They are open Monday and Tuesday 9 to 5 , Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 6, Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday from 9 to 2.
