Ellsworth Middle School 8th Grade Promotion [PHOTOS]

Despite earlier forecasts of rain, the Ellsworth Middle School 8th Graders received their promotion certificates in Del Luce Stadium on a sunny Monday, June 14th.

Principal Erica Gabbianelli oversaw the promotion ceremony, and offered a welcome to parents, family and friends.

8th graders marched around the track and onto the grandstand where they were met by Mrs. Jester and other teachers. I couldn't hear all the others, but Mrs. Jester had a kind word for each student and fist bump as she congratulated them on their special day.

8th graders were called up by class and each child was given a carnation to present to someone who had played an important part in their year at the end of the ceremony.
