Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School’s Roof Suffers Tremendous Damage
Everyone is asked to stay away from the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School on Tuesday, December 19th after the roof suffered tremendous damage from the storm on Monday December 18th.
Superintendent Amy Boles sent out a letter to the Ellsworth Community on Monday night
Please refrain from coming to the school premises tomorrow for your safety until further notice. No one will be allowed on site. Rest assured, we are and will continue to, work diligently to assess the situation and will keep you updated on any developments and the reopening schedule.
As you can see there is tremendous damage to the roof with debris throughout the lawn adjacent to the school.
Superintendent Boles reiterated the need for people to avoid the area for their safety and to allow public works, roofing people, insurers and engineers to assess the safety of the building, and to begin clean-up
We will keep you up-to-date regarding the status of school for Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School students for the rest of the week.
Anyone with concerns is asked to email Amy Boles.
