WDEA's Chris Popper sat down with Rachel Kohrman Ramos the Director of Curriculum in Ellsworth and Kelli Rudolph one of the Title 1 Interventionists at the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School.  The Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School is hosting a free spaghetti dinner for students in the Title 1 Program on Monday, October 29th from 5-5:30 PM followed by a Title 1 Presentation from 5:30 to 6PM.

During dinner, families will be able to watch a video presentation from some of the Title 1 Students. During the presentation children will enjoy Kevin Duplissie a balloon artist/story leader in the gym. There will be free giveaways and a surprise at the end.

Rachel Kohrman Ramos and Kelli Rudolph told Popper about how children are identified for Title 1 services. They also talked about programs to help children with reading, the importance of reading daily and about how Ellsworth teachers are making reading fun for their students. On Friday October 25th children at the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School are having a costume parade dressing up as one of their favorite characters from a book.
