Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 1st for the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School's PTF Fall Festival, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Admission is free but there is a suggested donation of pet food, pet toys, cleaning supplies which will be given to The Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield.

There will be craft vendors, displays and demos as well as field and "fair" games. Of course there will be lots of food and raffles with some great prizes as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Children are encouraged to carve a pumpkin at home and then bring it to the Fall Festival to enter it into the carving contest. Children under 6 can enter a decorated/carved pumpkin for free. Children 6 and up can enter their pumpkin for $5.00. Pumpkins will be judged at 2 p.m. with prizes being awarded.

All proceeds from the Fall Festival will go to the PTF to help the school purchase Holiday gifts for children of our community who would otherwise go without.
