Ellsworth City Hall’s Cupola to Be Lit Up with Colors of the Rainbow During Pride Month

In October, the cupola on top of the City Hall in Ellsworth is lit up pink in honor of those fighting and in memory of those who have died from Breast Cancer.'

In keeping with that, the City of Ellsworth is using a special LED light that will rotate the colors of the rainbow, in recognition of June being Pride Month.

The Ellsworth High School's Gender and Sexuality Diversity Alliance submitted the request in March.

Ellsworth's 3rd Annual Pride Festival will be held Sunday, June 11th at Knowlton Park
