Ellsworth Boys Soccer Tips MDI 2-1 EHS JV Nips MDI 3-2

On Senior Recognition Night the Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team nipped MDI 2-1 on Tuesday, September 28th at Del Luce Stadium.

Kai Barrett scored the 1st goal of the game, for Ellsworth, assisted by Cruz Coffin with 12:57 remaining in the 1st Half.

The score was 1-0 Ellsworth at the end of the 1st Half.

Silas Montigny gave Ellsworth an insurance goal, assisted by Coffin, with 7:08 elapsed in the 2nd Half.

Cole Watson scored for MDI with 23:26 remaining to bring the Trojans with 1, but they could get no closer.

Ellsworth is now 3-3-1 and will play host to Caribou on Thursday, September 30th

MDI is 1-4 and will play host to Foxcroft Academy on Saturday afternoon, October 2nd.
