The donuts were just too enticing and finally after 2 days, the Ellsworth bear saga has come to a conclusion... For now.

Life should return to normal for the Ellsworth neighborhood near the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School, as the bear was trapped around 10:15 p.m on Thursday, June 25th according to Susan Tripp.

Members of the Ellsworth Police Department came right up and by 11:30 p.m. the Warden was transporting him out of the City.

Susan Tripp commented on the professionalism and great demeanor of the Ellsworth Police Department, Maine Warden Service and State Biologists over the last 2 days in their interaction with the children, adults and neighbors in trapping the bear!
