Do You Know Who This Was? Mysterious Taps Player in Ellsworth Cemetery Memorial Day

We were told about this mysterious person who was playing Taps, Monday afternoon, Memorial Day in the rain at 2:41 p.m. in the small cemetery by Jordan's Homestead.

He was in full uniform playing Taps for all those resting there...In the rain.

The Jordan Hometead is located on the Bayside Road  in Ellsworth, between Lundin Way and Pioneer Farm Way.

I don't want to embarrass the trumpeter or bugler, and I know when I do things, I'm not looking for "honor" or recognition. But this individual really understands what Memorial Day is about. It's not about the barbecue, it's not about the picnics, it's not about the long weekend. It IS about honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense or service to our country.
