District 1 Champions!

Congratulations to the Ellsworth 11/12 All Star Team who are the District 1 champions, after defeating Machias 8-5 Monday night, July 10th in Machias. Ellsworth will head to the State Tourney Friday July 21st in Westbrook. Their first game is at 8 PM that night.

Michael Palmer pitched 5 1/3 innings for Ellsworth striking out 12, and Craig Burnett picked up the save, throwing the final 1 2/3 innings with 2 strikeouts.

Ellsworth received home runs from Eamon MacDonald and Brett Bragdon. Michael Palmer and Chance Mercier each had 3 hits, including 2 doubles. Miles Palmer, and Peter Keblinsky each singles. Mike Harris and Wyatt Bragdon advanced teammates on sacrifices.

The Ellsworth Team is managed by Buddy Palmer with Assistant Coaches Jonah Rounseville and Mark Gagnon. The team is comprised of Brett Bragdon, Chance Mercier, Craig Burnett, Eamon MacDonald, Lucas Gagnon, Michael Harris, Michael Palmer, Peter Keblinsly, Tanner Seara,  and Wyatt Bragdon
