Collin on the AT Trail Day 4 [VIDEO PHOTOS]

My son Collin has made it through Day 4 of the Appalachian Trail, and is staying at the Blood Mountain Shelter tonight. He didn't quite make it as far as he wanted, so will stay there and then go off the trail tomorrow at Mountain Crossings to resupply, use a real toilet, take a shower and sleep in a real bed, plus recharge his phone and portable chargers. He's 29.3 miles in, not counting the 8 mile approach that he did, and has 2159.9 miles to go :)

He experienced some more trail magic today, coming across another hot dog cookout for lunch. He facetimed me eating a hot dog, and looked good! So far on this trek I think he's eaten more hot dogs than he has in the previous 6 months!
