Circle your calendar and be sure to stop in to the Ellsworth City Hall to have a coffee and say thank-you and learn more about the functions of the Ellsworth City Clerks. The City of Ellsworth invites you "Coffee with the Clerks" Friday May 5th from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Ellsworth is lucky to have Toni Dyer, Marcia Monk and KaTina Vanadestine working in the Clerk's Office.

Having served on the Bangor City Council what seems a lifetime ago, I know first hand the importance of the City Clerk's Office. You can't get a marriage license, dog license, birth or death certificate, register to vote or a business license without talking to the City or Town Clerk!

In fact the City of Ellsworth issued a proclamation in honor of their clerks at the April 10th meeting

"The City recognizes the vital service that City Clerks Toni Dyer, Marcia Monk and KaTina Vanidestine provides and hopes the community will join us in showing appreciation." It went on saying the clerks "provide the professional link between the citizens, the local governing bodies and agencies of the government at other levels".
