Captain Robert ‘Bobby’ Dorr Named Ellsworth Firefighter of the Year
The Ellsworth Fire Department held their annual scallop stew supper at the Ellsworth Fire Station on Monday, February 5th. After the supper, the Ellsworth Fire Department recognized Captain Robert "Bobby" Dorr as the 2017 Ellsworth Firefighter of the Year.

Captain Dorr is a career firefighter with 9 plus years of service to the City of Ellsworth. This is the 3rd time Dorr has been awarded Firefighter of the Yea.
Captain Dorr is also the lead fire instruction for the Hancock County Firefighter's Association's Fire Academy held each year from January through May. Dorr resides in Ellsworth with his wife Heather.
